Our next 4 Wellbeing sessions will be a Journey in to Mindfulness

the four-session wellbeing journey, will explore Mindfulness in relation to the body, thoughts, emotions, and creativity.

"Your Thoughts Lie Sometimes"

In this session, we will explore the nature of our thoughts through mindfulness practices. Participants will identify recurring thoughts, understand their role in shaping emotions and behavior, and learn to observe them with awareness and detachment. The aim is to help participants develop a more mindful attitude toward their thoughts.

Session Structure:

  • 5 mins: Intro to mindfulness & thoughts. Participants will write down a word representing their main thought themes.

  • 15 mins: Guided meditation on thoughts awareness, with personal metaphors to observe thoughts.

  • 15 mins: Reflection handout and group discussion.

  • 10 mins: Group sharing on challenges, how the process felt, and any changes in relation to their chosen word.

  • 5 mins: Closing and checking out.

"Your Body is Your Anchor"

"Your Body is Your Anchor"

The first session, "Your Body is Your Anchor", will introduce mindfulness in relation to the body

Session 1 – Structure Overview

  • 5 min: Introduction to mindfulness

  • 20 min: Guided body scan and breath awareness practice - I will personally record it so that it is safe and tailored to beginners

  • 5-10 min: Reflection time (using the handout) and optional group sharing

  • 5-10 min: Closing check-out
