Webcam Counselling

Jigsaw Webcam Sessions

Thanks to Jigsaw Homes Funding, we are able to offer up to 6 free sessions of webcam counselling if you live in a Jigsaw Homes property.

What is Webcam Counselling?

Webcam Counselling is just like having face-to-face counselling, except you talk to a trained counsellor online using a secure video link.

We offer individual sessions to explore many of life’s issues including:

  • Depression

  • Self-Harm

  • Anxiety

  • Anger

  • Passivity

  • Loss and Bereavement

  • Self-Esteem

  • Relationship Issues

  • Family issues

  • life changes

  • stress

How does it work?

If you would like to book an appointment simply fill in the contact form on this page and wait for a response from our team. We will initially set up an assessment appointment which gives you the time to talk through what has been happening for you, what you would like to use counselling sessions to help you with and how we might be able to help.

After this you can decide if you would like ongoing sessions.

Technology

All you need to use our webcam counselling service is a computer, laptop or device with a webcam. Once you've booked a session your counsellor will email you with a link to your session.

At the time of your appointment, simply click the link to connect to a video call with your counsellor.

We use Microsoft Teams to provide our Webcam Counselling. If you've never used Teams before when you click the link you may be asked to install a plugin to connect your camera with your web browser. Follow the on-screen instructions and select 'Run' to install.

We use Teams because:

  • it's available to users with lower bandwidths

  • you don't need to download software or set up an account

  • it meets a very high standard of confidentiality and data security.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you wish to reschedule or cancel an appointment, you'll need to contact your counsellor 48 hours in advance of the appointment.
