Face to Face Counselling for
Young Adults and Teens 12-17
We offer face to face counselling in Wigan Town centre.
We are a not for profit organisation and rely heavily on donations and funding to continue our services. As such we ask for a minimum donation for young peoples session’s of £25.
For families who’s income derives from Universal Credit sessions may be at a reduced rate of £20 per session.
This particular service supports Young People age 11 to 17.
What is face to face counselling
Here at EWG we provide many options in terms of counselling styles and services. These include:
Person-Centered Counselling,
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Psychotherapy
Relaxation and Visualisation: Learn to relax and de-stress, develop tools and skills that will stay with you for life
These therapies can help with things like:
Depression
Self-Harm
Anxiety
Anger
Passivity
Loss and Bereavement
Self-Esteem
Issues in friendships or relationships
Family issues
How does it work?
Complete the self referral form on this page and we will email you to arrange an appointment.
You will be offered an initial assessment appointment where you can talk about your situation, what you would like help with and discuss how we may be able to help.
You can then make a decision about ongoing sessions.

For young people aged 11-17 a parent or guardian must book the initial appointment and be the main contact for appointments.
Anyone aged 16-18 can choose to contact via a parent or guardian or self refer
